Little Dollies!

I had the opportunity to do a photo shoot with some of the most adorable little dollies I know.  Thank you so much Stephanie for doing this photoshoot – it was oh so much fun and I can’t wait to do the one this week!

First there is little Mya.  She wants to do everything her older sister does, yet has such a different personality!  She is very determine to be independent!

Here she is showing me the rock she found, while squatting down similar to the way I was while taking her picture.  What a cutey!

Then there is miss Madeline – Sassy as can be but in a most adorable way.  She was full of smiles and poses almost like she was asking for me to take her picture.  Too cute

And Finally there is Jocelyn – the oldest of the bunch and a pretty pretty pretty little dolly.  She was ready to explore outside and barely wanted to stop for pictures, but she did, and boy were we glad.

And here is where we go into picture overload.  I had so many of them where they were all looking it was amazing.

We took balloons out and wow was I so impressed with how this idea played out – The girls were so good about holding the balloons out of their faces.

On of the girls and their mommy – This has to be my fave.

Again, walking towards us with a little texture this time.

And by the bridge.

Mya was asking her mommy where the sucker at the end of the balloon went – She wanted to know how to get it off of there to eat.  She was all about the sucker.

The giggly girls – They had Mya just laughing.

Oh cute Mya – You made me work for a smile but we got one!

This was again a fave – The girls just being girls – Running and the balloons flying behind.

Mother – Daughter Love IT!

We were attempting to get a foot picture – But lens wasn’t working with me – Instead we got this – capturing all of their individual personalities in one shot!

DSC_9032

And finally these last two are all about the love in the family – What a wonderful little family of girls.

This session was so much fun!  I can’t wait until the next.  And thank you so much Stephanie for the referral!  I hope She is as happy as you are with your pics!

A little of this A little of that – Catch Up

So I have been a little sporadic with the postings lately.  We have been spending a lot of time outdoors and am getting ready to do some big spring cleaning here.  So our days go by pretty quickly it seems.

I figured I would do a quick recap of some of what we’ve been up to these days.

Hanging out with daddy – This has got to be one of the best pictures of  the two of them.

DSCN2612

We took a road trip to Hubby’s brothers for the weekend to do some shopping at the outlet mall and of course to see some of his family.  It was a great time and we got some great deals while shopping for R’s spring and summer wardrobe.

This is what R. looked like on the way there – She slept peacefully for about 3 hours of the 3.5 hour trip.  We were in heaven!

DSCN2620

We’ve also found a love of walking.  We usually go for at least one outdoor walk a day – if not two.  We head out during the day with our pals H. and her mommy.  Then some evenings we head out with daddy too.  R. loves to go for rides in the stroller.  She is SOOOOO good while we walk.

When we go during the day, we have found a neat little toddler park right off the bike trail that we like to stop at and let the girls play.  They both love it.  R. is in love with the slide and recently found out how to climb up the bumby slide to get to the top of the wavy slide.  WEEEE!

DSCN2627

Just arrived at the park after the majority of the walk – Ready to play!

Playing on the playground

Notice both girls are wearing flowers in their hair – I had a big kick this morning to make some of the oh-so popular flower hair pretties – I made some large ones like H. is wearing and some smaller ones like the ones R. has in.   I think they turned out pretty cute!

Mommy’s favorite picture for the post.  A small smirk but loving the park!

Spring has Sprung and it's the weekend

We are very much enjoying the spring weather here. R. loves to play on the deck, or in the garage, or at the park, or in the stroller on a walk, or basically anywhere that involves being outside.
We are gonna get some major spring/summer shopping done this weekend for R. So super excited to get her some capris, spring dresses, skirts, shorts and tees. Oh yes, she is in need of some super cute sandals also. And maybe a swim suit or two as we plan on spending a lot of time at the pool!
I couldn't remember if I had posted a picture of R. in her new pink vest! Well it got here right before Easter and it fits so awesome. She is such a trooper and sits so well for her 30 minute treatments. I love this girl. The pink vest is a different design then the original black one, and is completely machine washable in case of any cases of the pukeys hit our house during treatment time. Of course, the vest wouldn't be near as great without the ipod touch that she plays with during the treatment - She loves her some Taylor Swift - or in her words Taydor? Taydor?

We are continuing to raise money for our Great Strides Walk which takes place on June 5th. I was pleasently suprised this morning when I recieved an email that a highschool friend had donated $100.00 to our team. If you haven't joined our team or donated, expect to see a nice postcard from R. in the mail soon. We are hoping to get them out next week! Only 7 Weeks left until walk day! T-shirt designs are in the process of being drawn up - They will hopefully be done soon - If anyone wants a shirt - they are $15.00 each and I will be ordering them by May 15th so let me know what you want and your size
Sidenote - Jodee - I will send Kamree the shirt you won as soon as we get them in (I haven't forgotten) - Thanks again for the donation and all the nice words!
Well time to do the laundry and clean - Treatments are "all gone" as R. says which really means All Done!
Have a wonderful Weekend!
Enjoy the Weather
And Breathe Easy Everyone!

Yellow Polka Dot……

Well, it’s not a bikini, but a super cute shirt!

We quick ran out to the nature park for a quick impromptu photo shoot.

Don’t let this little smile fool you, I took about 100 photos and only got about 5 that were good. R. was a total crab (and I can say that because I’m her mommy)

DSC_8834

We started out by walking this hill. The grass is still a little prickly and there were alot of twigs/straw sticking out of the ground. I did manage to get this photo and couldn’t decide which way I liked it edited best, so you get to see both!

DSC_8761 DSC_8761-1

Again – Two of the same picture with different editing. One of the more common shots – R. with a true pout and not a smile in site.

DSC_8772 DSC_8772-1

OOOOH, a small smirk – I think she was getting ready to scream though, because Daddy has the car keys that she wants.

DSC_8796

Again – 2 of the same picture – different edits – We actually have a small true smile here.

DSC_8804 DSC_8804-1

Back to no smile, well a little smirk I guess.

DSC_8810

Although, she wasn’t cooperating very well, I do love the pictures I got of her. I suppose it goes with the territory of trying to take pictures of a 19 month old – can’t guarantee a smile, cry, frown, serious expression. I am totally in love with this location and will be using it in an upcoming photo shoot – Here’s a hint – think bright baloons!

Guess what…

R. got this weekend?

A NEW SAND TABLE

DSC_8744 copy

And She loves it if you can’t tell!

DSC_8741

We went rounds about either building her a sandbox or buying one of the crab or turtle ones or getting a sand and water table. Well we went to look for swing set parts and to get ideas for that and we saw this on sale. So we were sold and so glad. She has had so much fun already!

Finally – The Easter Pictures

I know, I know, I promised pictures of our Easter fun a while ago – well a week ago, but We have had some beautiful weather and alot of other stuff going on, so I didn’t get to it.

We spent the Easter Weekend at my sisters with her family.   On Sunday we ventured to my Dad’s to have Easter with our family – my grandmas family to be exact so all of her sisters, kids, grandkids, etc.

DSC_8733

The older kids dyed Easter Eggs and we hid them in the afternoon.  This was R’s second egg hunt so she was getting the hang of it!

DSC_8627

Cousin L. loved playing in the sand box outside after the egg hunt.

DSC_8637

Cousin B. posing for a picture!

DSC_8644

This picture has a little background.  When we were growing up, my dad would position us on a ladder and take our picture.  We thought it would be funny to take a picture of my sister’s kids like that.  L. wasn’t too enthused about it, but with the help from my hubby (holding him from behind) he sat and looked at the camera for a little while.

DSC_8653

Hubby wanted a picture of R. with the sky – just a snap shot and straight out of the camera – nothing special besides the special little girl in the picture!

DSC_8665

R. enjoyed playing with all of the cousins outdoor toys.  They have a ton.  This little green scooter was just her size.

DSC_8680

This is my cousin M.  She was just thrilled to have her picture taken.  We were outside my dad’s house for the 18th egg hunt.  They just kept hiding the eggs and the two older kids kept looking for them.

DSC_8689

My dad decided he wanted to take a few pictures with the newly finished old truck.  The truck was his grandpa’s truck and they had bought it new!

This is a four generation picture (with two families)

My Grandma, My Dad, Me and R.  and then switch out Me and R. for my sis and her kids.

And one with the full truck in the background

DSC_8707

So overall – It was a wonderful weekend.  We didn’t get any pictures of her at the Easter Lunch with the big family because she was so busy running and running and running.  We hold the lunch at our local gymnasium so there is tons of room to run!
