Easter Fun

Easter has come and gone. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed every minute that was spent with family and friends. This was the first year R. really got to enjoy some of the events - the egg hunts, dying Easter eggs - running rampid at the auditorium where we have Easter dinner - playing with her cousins - Every little minute she enjoyed. Well almost every minute ( I will get to that in a little bit)

We went on 2 Easter Egg Hunts - one with friends earlier in the week, and one on Saturday with her cousins. This one we used Real Eggs and all 34 of them ended up cracked after we were done. Oh Well.

R. also spent a lot of time playing with her cousins. We stayed with them for 2 nights then ventured to my dad's for the Easter Day festivities. While at my sisters, R. was playing with some toys and her cousin L. (who is 6 weeks older) smoked R. in the head with a frying pan. It was a little 1 egg pan, but it still hurt like the dickens. We decided that after the first night of him testing the waters and smacking her a few times with no response from her that he determined he could do what ever to her without her retaliating. Well he was partly right. He did get a good talkin to about the frying pan incident. We laughed about it a little as no real damage was done. That's the difference between staying home and going to daycare. R. does not know how to fight back - AT ALL.

Overall it was a wondeful weekend. We loved spending time with our family and eating oh so scrumptious food. Pictures will come soon, but as always they are still in the camera!

I hope all had a wonderful Easter Weekend.
